Research highlights the increasing numbers of unaccompanied asylum seeking refugee children, vulnerable refugees or migrants, reaching the shores and borders of host countries.
Unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people are expected to be given priority and in the UK are usually taken through the system to access healthcare services accompanied by a carer or social worker.
Please find details of a review carried out by Dr Ruth Chapman regarding the health needs of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, and a literature review and resource paper she has prepared.
